Hospital Stories:

A lot of people were detained in Ellis Island for different reasons, My great Aunt Louise Jacobson and her family were detained in 1917 for being ill, the oldest son Alf Karstein that was 6, had to stay in hospital for 2 months, before they could go home to Canada.
