Under the name Expedition_8, the curator Abdellah Karroum and I have made a journey to Northern Norway running from 9th of July until the 15th of July 2009. Also Joining the journey was curator Anne Szefer Karlsen.
Karroum has invited me to participate at the 3rd Edition of the AiM festival (Arts in Marrakech) in November 2009. The main event in this year's edition is the exhibition "On articulating Works and Places" curated by Karroum. The exhibition investigates ideas related to works and places. Expedition_8 is part of the development of my work with the discussions, meetings and ideas that has surfaced during our time together.
Expedition_8 and the participation in "On articulating Works and Places" is supported by the municipal of Bergen, OCA (Office for Contemporary Art Norway) and HKS (Hordaland Kunstsenter)
