We are out to explore an old local myth about "Einar the rich", to try to find the treasure he once buried somewhere in Røyrvasseid. You can read about the myth here, in Eirin's web page, only in Norwegian though..




Eirin's father and my mother grew up in Røyrvasseid, so we've heard the story about the old Sami treasure all our lives. This is where they kept the potatoes. There is not much left of the old houses and buildings, the family left Røyrvasseid in 1960 to move to Straumen.
